The object of purging the System Restore Folder is to remove all the restore points which contain prior infections!

Not exactly the restore points I like to have hanging around!

Therefore,disabling and Renabling System Restore flushes out all the nasty restore points and once renabled and the PC restarted,a new clean one is created!
