Hello,

I'm new to this and desperately need some help. I'm currently a victim of Winfixer popups for weeks now and can't seem to get rid of the problem. I've ran Adaware, Coolshredder, and Spybot to try and resolve this issue, however, I was unsuccessful. Coolshredder found CWS.Look2Me as a problem and indicated it was removed. After reboot, it detected an error and CWS.Look2Me is still there.

Please Help, your assistance and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply. I followed the steps you provided with one problem. VundoFix did not run HijackThis, I received a script error message. So, I opened HijackThis and was not able to locate
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vtsts - C:\WINDOWS\system32\vtsts.dll
to fix. I was able to complete the rest with this exception. I hope I did it correctly.

Hi again,

Run a scan with HiJackThis, check and fix the following object:

O23 - Service: CWShredder Service - Unknown owner - C:\DOCUME~1\JANNET~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 1 for CWShredder.zip\CWShredder.exe (file missing)

Close the program.

Next:

1) Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit.

2) Save it to your desktop.

3) Run Killbox.exe.

4) Select "Delete on Reboot".

5) Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them then press CTRL + C

C:\install.cab
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\mljji.dll

6) Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

7) Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Reboot. Post a new log and let me know if you're still noticiing problems
