My sister recently install Kazaa on our home computer to my dismay and since then everytime I start my computer WinFixer loads up and I can't remove it. I am also worried about other spyware which may be running on our machine. I have tried running ad-aware but i am not sure what to do next.

Can someone please help?

Welcome to GTG.

Download KazaaBegone http://www.greyknigh...KazaaBegone.zip. This uninstaller will remove all elements from all Kazaa versions, as well as all of the bundled software that comes with it. Warning: This version has a bug that can cause your Internet connection to be broken when removing New.Net, WebHancer or CommonName. Before using KazaaBegone, download WinsockFix http://www.greyknigh.../WinsockFix.zip just in case you need it (if it breaks your internet connection, run it).

Please read the first link in my signature and follow the steps outlined there. When you are ready, post the HijackThis log here.
