I followed your advice before posting and my smptoms have disapeared for now. THANK YOU!!

MY QUESTION: Which programs should we run simultaneously? Some may not be compatible to run in background together.

I have:

Norton IS,
Adaware,
SpyBot,
Ewido suite,
SpywareBlaster,
AVG,
SpySweeper and
Trojan Hunter

I do a great deal of surfing AutoSurf sites and am getting attacked all the time.

Thanks...

Hi There

The only apps that you have which will conflict with each other are Norton and AVG as they are both Antivirus applications.

Norton IS, Conflict

Adaware, Use for on demand scans.

SpyBot, Enable "Teatimer" function in Spybot, also use its immunisation facility to protect from homebage hijacks

Ewido suite, If this is the full paid version, then run in real time so as to benefit from its Guard features

SpywareBlaster, Runs all the time anyway
AVG, Conflict

SpySweeper and
Trojan Hunter

The most important thing that you can do is to keep all these fully up to date.
