Lets do some double checking!

Make sure Luna.Theme inside the Resources and Themes folders

Make sure shellstyle.dll in all 3 folders that are inside the C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Luna\Shell folder

Now right Click the Desktop and Select Properties

Under Themes, make sure its set to WindowsXP (Modified)

Under Appearance, make sure that Windows and Buttons is set to WindowsXP Style

Post back and let me know what you find out?

Well crap,I am running out of ideas but we need to try the idea of one of my fellow posters!

I will attach a Copy of my luna.msstyles to this post in a Zip folder!

Download and Unzip!

Delete your copy of luna.msstyles but dont empty the recycle bin just yet!

Move the file you just downloaded to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Luna

Once the new file is in the Luna Folder-> Double Click luna.msstyles and the Apperance Window should be opened and the style should be added!

Restart the PC and try to fix the Apperance again!

Post back and let me know?

Attached Files

  • Attached File  luna.zip   561.5KB   99 downloads

OK,lets get ya finished up!

Here are some add ons to increase the security of your browsing the Internet!

They are virtually weightless and will pull no resources from the PC!

Please Install these 2 to add to the Security of the PC!

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacools...areblaster.html
Update Immediatly!

WinHelp2002 Hosts File
http://www.mvps.org/...2002/hosts2.htm

Disable System Restore
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

Restart the PC and Renable System Restore to flush out all old nasty Restore Points and Create a nice new clean one for you to fall back on if ever you need it!

Go ahead and remove any of the tools downloaded that are of no use anymore!

Definatly Defrag the System when we are done!

Let me know how this all works for ya,cause I can tell you this, your alot safer to surf now, then when we first met! :tazz:
