I opened Volume Control trying to fix a no sound during C D play and have a response from only Volume control when I click my mouse on it. The response is a sound which is normal. When I click my mouse on Wave, Sw Synth, Line In there is no response. How do I get sound when I want to play a C D. I lost my sound when I was trying to copy a C. D. using Nero Express.

you get no response meaning the sliders do not move, or you get no sound?

Click OPTIONS, PROPERTIES and make certain the proper mixing device is selected
