Trying to remove Adware.Topsearch.
Symantec told me to remove Kazaa, which I dod but the issue is still present. Can't find specific files in several searches I have completed. My browser often says I am not connected, but I am. IE wants to close or debug really often and sometimes I cannot get to many pages (including hotmail).

Norton tells me it's an "asm.exe" file in C: but I can't find it.

Please help!

We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
