Hi there, I am trying to find help with something on my computer. The other night (Wednesday) checking emails and stuff and shut it down, when I stated it on Thursday, it would get to the "windows is starting" screen, a diaglog box opens that says in the header - lsass.exe - System error Then in the box it says The specified domain does not exist. If I close the box, or click okay the computer tries to restart again. I can't even get to the startup screen or anything. I just cleaned my hard drive about two weeks ago and reinstalled windows xp professional and tried to repair the windows using the disk, but the same thing happened again when it got to the Windows screen. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be and how to fix it? I talked to the people at Gateway and they said it was most likely a windows system 32 virus. Since I can't even get windows to load, I can't download any fix from the internet, I'd have to be able to load it to a disk or something. Any advice anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.
