Well there are a few problems that have suddenly popped up with my pc. Firstly, everything is slow (compared to before). I have 27GB out of 160GB free space left. Firexfox does not open, just never. I've done a full system scan with both Ad-Aware and ewido, turned up nothing. Funny thing is i also have opera (the browser), that works fine.

any help would be great. thanks.

you've gotta be kidding. how could such a small problem imply to have such a large effect?

ah I agree, if you don't want to do it the best way then do it this way: Reinstall firefox. BUT... that will probably not fix any system problems you are having. Run viruscans and spyware scans to insure you didn't pick up a big going to those dirty sites. If you don't make any progress just format and reinstall windows, it will solve your problems 100%.
peace.

I think you may have gotten into something that hijacked your browser and set some bugs on your system. Give your compy a three finger salute and see if any unknown programs are running the background.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
