I'm using XP Home and am wanting to set up an FTP site to share video and photos with family and friends. I have tried Serv-U but am not able to properly set it up. Anyone able to help? Thanks.

If you are using XP Home you will need to use third-party software. There is no way to publish an FTP site with the Home Edition of XP.
This page has step by step instructions:

Thanks for your help guys. I tried what you recommended and Quick n' Easy Lite is by far the most simple. But now to add to the question. Is this the fastest way to share large files (ex. home video clips, photos, etc.) with the family? We've tried messenger but that seems really slow for our internet connections. We both have 1Mps transfer rate.
