Hello,

Reading through some of the threads I have seen similar problems but before I go and delete files I shouldn't I ran HiJackThis and am going to post the log for you to look at. I had the problem earlier with that hidden "complete" file folder full of .zip movies (close to 25,000 files) I was able to find it and delete everything out of there. I know am left with the following problems.

1. Task Manager does not appear with ctrl/alt/dlt
2. On EVERY boot of the system, the same spyware reloads after having removed it and run an Ad Aware scan on the last boot.
3. When I have Limewire running, it will run for about maybe 15 minutes and then automatically shut down even in the middle of downloads ( so i know its not b/c the "exit after files are transferred" option is turned on)
4. A general slowdown of my computer b/c of this spyware that just seems to be running in the background but I can't access the task manager to end the processes.

Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :tazz:

Before we can get started on fixing your problem you must change the location of Hijackthis. It should not run directly from your desktop or a temp directory. Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and download and unzip hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a permanent folder, please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
