Hi guys,

I got a laptop from dell a couple of months ago. I have official user rights for xp but they didn't give me an xp disc and thus I can't repair things like the autoexec.nt 16 bit subsystem problem or install new templates for excel etc

Does anybody have any solutions as where to get the disc from?

Thanks

You can call Dell Customer Service [ 1-800-624-9896 ] and tell them that you didnt recive a Windows XP CD. I have done this and never got a problem, and recived the CD with in a week. They are going to ask you for your information(Name, Address, ServiceTag), they do this just to make sure that you are a customer. Hope that this helps.
