:) Hello all,

On my office computer at work (Dell Optiplex GX240) I'm getting a "Blue Screen of Death" Error.

This is what it says:
___________________________________________________________________
***Stop: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, oxED504007, 0x00000001, 0x03118EA0)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Address ED504007 base at EP504000, DateStamp 3e25baba - dmload.sys
___________________________________________________________________

This error only occurs when the computer is shut down for 24 hours (i.e. on Monday after the weekends or on days after that I've been sick).

When I DO get this error, I have to restart my computer 3-12 times for it to finally load Windows.

Any ideas how to fix this? :tazz:

Have you tried replacing that driver that causes the crash?

Howdy:

Well, the proper procedure would be to contact your IT Dept. and have them take a look at it.. This is a work computer after all..

Or, you could use the XP cd for that system and go to Start>Run .. Type in sfc /scannow and let the program chack and re-install corrupted or missing Windows system files..
