:) Hi i rebot my computer and havent got any sound :) Could someone plz help i havent had sound for about 3 days now so i need some help so could someone get me a link so i can download the driver and install it

Did you check the obvious stuff first? Speakers plugged in? Sound not muted, volumes turned up. Do you see the speaker in the system tray to access the mixer? If not can you get to it by going to START > RUN and typing SNDVOL32.EXE and pressing OK? If not what error does it give?

there are no active mixer devices availabe to install mixer devices go to control panel click printers and other hardware and then click add hardware :tazz:

may be the sound on the MoBo is turned off from BIOS ... :tazz:

Right click on My Computer and go to Manage. Click on Device Manager. Then on the right scroll down to Sound, Video, and Game Controllers and click [+] to expand that group if its not already expanded. Do you see anything with a yellow bang or red slash in it? Do you see anything with AC'97 Audio there? If you don't see that go ahead and list what you do see.

Talha 81 may be right too. Check your BIOS to see if sound didn inadvertantly get turned off.
