CD-Rom is acting wild

I recently spilt water on my laptop and and everything is working fine but for some reason the cd rom wont detect cds. The computer detects the cdrom drive, but it wont detect the cds. What should I do?? Thanks allot!

i would imagine that your laptop is no longer under warranty right?
