Trying to fix IE 6.0 on Win98SE machine by following advice of Knowledge Base article Q281679.
I do steps 1 through 3 below, but do not get the response of step 4. In fact I don't get any response at all.
1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
Any ideas why, and what to try now? Thanks.

Why don't you replace the file? You may need your repair or installation disk for this. Go Start>Run, type in sfc (System file checker) when it opens run it in the check system files mode. If the file isn't replaced run it in the replace file mode, type the file name in and hit OK.
