ok im buying a sound board to do audio recording and mixing, so what kind of cable do i need to get to go to the computer, i dont want to buy a box because they are spendy.

If you want to connect it to the Hi-Fi then check the outputs from the card and then the inputs on the Hi-Fi

For recording the sound from a stream, see if the soundcard has a what you hear option
