Hi,

Every time I start up windows I have to click on my name in the profile bit to log on. I never asked XP to do this just start up normally. Any ideas how to turn it off?

Thanks

Andrew

If you installed .net framework it will do this until you install service pack 1 sot .net framework, there is also a hotfix for the service pack

You can get these from Microsoft Update

Click start, control panel then add / remove, put a tick in show updates, look for .net framework

If you do not see it, click start, control panel, user accounts, then user accounts again, change the way users log on
