windows 98 infected by Trojan-spy.HTML.Smithfraud.

hi,

my windows 98 system has a frozen window with the following message all over it Security warning

A fatal error in IE has occurred at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD
VMMLO17+00010E36. Error was caused by
Trojan-spy.HTML.Smithfraud.C

*System can not fuction in normal mode
Please check your security settings
* Scan your PC with any available antivirus/spyware remove program to
fix the problem

i cannot do anything from here other ctl alt del. I have gone through safe mode but it is still the same.

i can't get any functionality from windows.


please can you help
