Ok, now I have Windows Me, and I want to assign my tape drive to a letter. It shows up in the device manager as a question mark with a yellow ! over it. There isn't a driver for it in Me.

Can tape drives get drive letters? I always thought you had to use a program since they use linear access and can't be accessed like a floppy or hard drive.

What make and model of tape drive do you have?

Well then, you have to find the drivers for it, and here Google really is your friend. Just start putting the model number in, +download +driver.
