I've read the other post relating to this question, but I'm still at a loss.

My speakers were working fine, then they stopped.

I'm running Windows 2000 Professional.
Under the Device Manager I see: Intel® 82801BA/BAM AC '97 Audio Controller - 2445.
I've tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver
The volume controls are NOT set to mute.
The speakers are connected.
I've re-booted my machine several times.

Does anyone have any ideas? I can't get down to work w/o my tunes.

Thanks,
