Hello friends.....Ive been viewing this thread the last few days because I have recently noticed the same exact problem that occured out of no where...I have 2 drives, one internal and one external....The external drive will send the deleted files to the recycle bin where as any file from the main system (internal) drive will only give the option to permanently delete the file thus not sending it to the recycle bin as stated in the other posts.

After trying the recycle and recycler fix suggested by Metallica and rebooting the problem was fixed--however once that windows session was done and the computer was re-booted from a new session the problem once again returned as before.

This is a pain in the a**!!...Any new suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
