Please help!

I get the impression I need Hijack This scan results for this forum, but I'm new to this forum and I don't have a question about a Hijack This scan.

My Norton Internet Security 2005 software picked up a virus on my computer called the Trojan.Vundo virus. The infected file is file pmnlk.dll in my System32 folder in Windows, but I am unable to delete it. I get an error message that says the file is in use and cannot be deleted, but I don't have any running programs at the time. I used Symantec's removal tool and the results said there was no Trojan.Vundo virus detected! Yet I still have this virus alert from Norton on my desktop that will not go away. I used Norton's manual removal instructions, but none of the registry keys, relating to this virus even in my registry. I don't know if the virus just hasn't had enough time to spread throughout the computer and place these keys, or if I even have a virus. Could Norton be giving me false alerts? The computers performance has been pretty slow, but the virtual memory is still high. All in all, Norton says I have this virus, but I can't find any leads to it, exept that pmnlk.dll file, which I can't open or delete. The virus is assessed, by Symantec as "Wild" and they say removal is "Difficult". I guess so. Does anyone have any expertise to share? Thanks :tazz:

I have followed Symantecs instructions for manual removal and no corresponding registry keys were found. I have also used Symantecs Trojan.Vundo removal tool and the results said no virus was found, yet I have a Norton virus alert plastered onto my desktop. The destination file (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\pmnlk.dll) cannot be deleted. Any help translating this log file from HijackThis? Thank you!
