Hey guys,

i installed rome total war from my brothers computer by copying the files to some discs and pasting them on mine. the game worked perfectly. i did this because my dad had the cds and they weren't very accessible at the time. neways, iv got the new babarian invasion exspansion and when i went to install it it came up with an error saying that it couldnt find an installed version of rome total war, most probly because i didnt install it.

ok. so im pretty sure its a registry problem because the game isnt in add or remove programs, but im not too keen on mucking around with the registry because i no its a pretty touchy topic. :)

i was woundering if there was anyway to allow the computer to realise that a version was already on there. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your time, :tazz:

you will have to have the original cd's and install the game properly. Until that's done we can't help you.

thanks,
