I am having some weird problems with my XP laptop. I just installed PGP Desktop 9, and it told me to reboot. I did, and it wanted a serial. I put in my serial number, and it told me to retry because it couldn't contact the servers. Just then, my antivirus decided to update. It said that it couldn't connect either. I tried to ping Google. It worked. And yet, all other programs still give me errors. I am thinking that it's some kind of wicked virus, because of the ping thing. The other computer on my network, however, is not infected (I have scanned it several times with AV and spyware/adware scanners), which I am using now. Any help would be appreciated!

I am going to try a system restore to yesterday at 10AM when I didn't have any problems. I'll let you know how it goes.

Did you fix it by using system restore?

BTW: Thanks for the update!
