Do you mean it takes 10 minutes from when the printer actually STARTS printing the page to when the page is finished being printed, OR do you mean it takes 10 minutes from the time you click print on your computer to the time the page is finished printing?

Have you got it set to high quality photo instead of document quality? That will slow it down and use up a lot of expensive ink.

I know it slows down when it prints photos on photo paper, but it takes about 10 minutes to print a normal word document!!!

What it does is it prints for about 3 seconds, then stops for about 10 or 15 seconds then prints for 3 seconds???

Have you run the self-diagnostic tests for your printer? Like clean the print cartridges, etc...

I suggest you download and install the full software pack for your printer. It can be found HERE.

Please Note that this is a HUGE file, over 360MB in size, so if you don't have a broadband connection, let me know and we will try other options.

You can also go to the HP website for help at:

http://welcome.hp.co...Display=support

If you register with them it will give you additional suuport and you can set up an account. They have a live chat with a tech to help out with issues.

Good luck.
