My computer seems to be (at least partially) highjacked by the malware called Zeno. It claims to be a "browser enhancement." I don't know how it got on my system, but would sure like some advice from someone who has experienced Zeno in getting it off.

Zeno is highjacking my "search engine results" (I usually use Google) and directing me to what it deems useful (to its advertisers).

I have tried my computer's own internal "search" to find the word Zeno as a file name or embedded in a file name (in order to purge it) and nothing comes up. I have installed on my computer "WinFixer" as a cache cleaner, but when that it is run, it is not finding and destroying Zeno.

Any help/ideas would be most appreciated!!!!! God bless!

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
