Ever since I updated to SP 2, I get a pesky Dialogue box when Windows starts.

You know the one, asking for a password.

I've tried going into User Accounts and changing the way I login, but to no avail.

Any suggestions ???

Hello
If you have a password, you always get this, there is no way around it. Do you have a password?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your quick response.

I don't have a password.

Ok could you please go to Microsoft Update and download all the updates, particularly the Net Framework update. This should solve your problem.

Thanks Michael,

That fixed it.

After Downloading and installing the net.framework SP1 (Then rebooting), I went to users and changed the logon to "Fast Switching"

And because I only have "Guest - Off"

Windows now boots straight to the Desktop.

Thanks again.

Steve.
