every time my computer slowes down or when a program crashes the windows xp bar at the bottom keeps changing from windows xd to windows classic i asked my friends and they get the same thing i just reinstaled my windows xp a couple of weeks ago

It's a problem with a process called Generic Host Processes in WinXP. There is a security patch for it coming out soon, but until then youwill have to deal with it. I have the same problem. Its just a process that makes WinXP look like WinXP, not like the pervious versions.
