Okay I uninstalled Microsoft antispyware. It still won't go into safemode.

Sorry I missed that question about the paltalk. I downloaded paltalk chat program a long time ago and then uninstalled it. However the paltalk icon continues to show up on my toolbar each time I restart the computer. It does not open the program if I click on it and it does not remove it from the toolbar if I click exit.

When you go into safe mode, it will not load all of your icons. You can still proceed with the fix, can't you?

Are you logged in as the administrator? If you can't access the programs you need to do the fix, access task manager by hitting control, alt, delete.
