Please can you help? Every time I start the computer, MS Antispyware tells me that I have an adware BHO which wants to load. If I let it do so, my AV (panda 2006) deletes a registry entry. But the mesages come back every time I start.

I have prepared a Hijackthis file to assist:

Thanks for any help.

Hello Mick and Welcome to Geeks To GO

Looking at your problem with the recurring hijack, we will have to use MS Anti-Spyware to get rid of it, because that's what keeps putting that entry back
  • Open Microsoft Antispyware.
  • In the right upper corner go to Advanced tools
  • Please click on "Change restore setting to a new URL".
  • Change it to something you would like to use as your homepage.
  • If prompted for the change, allow it.
  • When the left hand side is showing a 'good' restore, press "Restore This Setting Now".
  • We need to get a non-infected page there.
Your HJT log is fairly unremarkable, certainly nothing worrying there, but your PC is becoming a fortress and that will start becoming troublesome to you and it will slow you down.

The genereal rule is one AV programme and one Antispyware programme only to run in real-time. Any other AS programmes you want to use must be used for on demand scanning. When I look at your AS devices I see Microsoft AS, SpyBot Tea Timer, Ad-Aware Ad-Watch and Panda AS.

Let me know if that sorted things out for you.
