Finally diving into my new system -
ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe board

I've got a case with a front panel with audio, USB & 1394.
I'm not sure if the panel is USB1 or USB2, I know the board
is USB2.

The pinout descriptions don't all match.

Can someone please tell me what matches
to what?

The board manual says it follows the Intel
layout.

Board manual has these that don't match up
directly to the case audio diagram:

MIC2
MICPWR
Line out R
Line out L
BLINE OUT R
BLINE OUT L

Case diagram has these

MIC IN
MIC BIAS
SPKOUT L
SPKOUT R
RETURN L
RETURN R

For the board 1394 connector, I was
able to match them up, but there are
2 less wires from the front panel port
than there are pins on the board

The board has two +12V pins, the panel has one
The board has three GND, the panel has two

Any problem?

Last question, for now -

For the USB in the front panel

Board has:

USB+5V
USB+6V
USB_P5-
USB_P6-
USB_P5+
USB_P6+
GND
GND

Frt panel has:

(1)+D
(2)+D
(1)-D
(2)-D
(1)+VCC
(2)+VCC
GND
GND

Except for the GNDs, I'm really stumped there.

Thanks again & again!!

Thanks Samm! That's one big mess of wires out of the way.

Anybody have any info on the 1394 & USB questions?

Thanks again.
