Hi, just got my new dell a month ago and was having no problems, i knew that was too good to be true. Anyway got on today and the norton icon has an x through it. It says that my auto protect if off and I cant turn it on. It has been running fine. Havent installed anything new etc. Went to symantec and it says if I have a sound blaster card, I do, to stop the creative center from loading when the computer starts. I have no clue how to do that. If i do that can I still listen to music etc? What do I do now? As usual, HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks Kayona, not too technical when explaining ok? thanks

That sounds odd.

There may be something going on with your machine. Why don't you check the Hijack This guide in my signature and follow the instructions. :tazz:
