Dear guys

I am having trouble watching some video files. They work perfectly on my friends computer but then when put onto my PC the sound plays but there is no image. I have downloaded latest version of Media Player and Win Amp but the same problem for both of them. I can hear the sound but have no joy with the graphics. I run on XP. Can anyone suggest any solutions.

Thanks, Marcus

what kind of video files are they? Make sure you have to right codecs to play them. You most likely need divx: http://www.divx.com/

If I'm not mistaken WMP has a limited ability to auto-detect the codec you need, and it downloads it.

I could be mistaken.
