How do I reset the Setup/Bios password?

I am trying to load WIN98 on a Friends old Pentium 166 PC and as he bought it second hand, does not have a password for getting into the bios. can anyone help?

open your computer and take the c-mos batarie out wait 10 minuts then turn on this should unlock your computer

Thanks for all your suggestions.

I found the motherboard instruction manual on the ASUS website. All I had to do was change a Jumper, power up and power down again, remove the temporary jumper and TADA! It reset the BIOS to factory default.
