direcway dw7000 xp settings

I just had my direcway system installed ( dw7000 ) The installer used his notebook to check that I was receiving a signal. He logged on the net just fine. He set up my notebook the way he thought it should work and could not get it to work and gave up. Now I have service and can't use it. I am kind of a newb to computers and need someone to walk me through the set up. Anyone willing to do this? Is their a link that would walk me through the setup. I am running windows xp. Thanks for any help you can give me.
