Hi Dr. G.....I am 99.99999999999999% sure that you meant to include
my name in posting weekly exercise reports. :)
(You just copied and pasted from my post and myself wasn't included.) :tazz:

Today, I got 2 hours of exercise...that is a lot but cold weather is coming and my husband
hooked the generator up so I could plug in a long extension cord...He put the generator in
the back of the pick up truck, drove it into the field, and I could cut the dead flowers along
the 150 ft of roadside.

HOORAY....IT IS FINISHED.
You can't know how glad I am...The flowers go for 500 ft. along the roadside.

I wish I had you boys (and Kristy) here to help me...I could put you to work for sure and you
would get all the outdoor exercise you need....Soon our many big maple trees will be letting
down their tons of leaves.
You would be kept busy raking and taking them to the flower gardens.

Love, Janie :)

Hey Dr. G.
Do you mean you met your new girl while taking your runs and walks
in the Park?

If so, that is SO COOL and you can credit this thread and this GEEKS SITE
to the reason you met her.
(Pushing you to get out and do your outdoor exercise.)

Actually, it must be FATE and meant to be. :tazz:
Sound like you are having a good time with your new female friend.

Love, Janie :)

Twenty minutes, let's see, 1200 seconds a day meaning two and a third hours per week, five days a year, ending up to seven and a half months over an average working 45year lifetime, but since one is asleep for seven hours one actual loss turns out to be longer. Now I suggest here the complimentary idea of attaching an optical mouse to one of those walk machines to watch television while setting the screensaver to one minute but returning to the subject, considering that I may have to move to England soon to a place where there is no transport, that twenty minutes promise will be kept by me by default, I will be onboard then and will join of the next session, promise.

I get twenty minutes at least every day getting to uni and going about my lectures and labs. But mind you thats still not enough im going out of my box without some really good exercise. Mind you we are finally getting a dog so ill be walking it pretty often as well so even more excersise. Dogs are great they make you go out even in the worst weather.

Today, I didn't have a chance to play on the computer! So I guess I will have to make it up over tommorow or thanksgiving. Probibably will play longer after tommorow since my research paper will finally be finished (last minute, as always) (I'm a professional procrastinator)

Hi 'yesiammanu'.

SILLY BOY. :)

We all know how EASY it is to sit at the computer.
A half hour can easily become an hour or more without hardly realizing it.

What is much more difficult is getting outside and walking or any
other exercise, especially when the temperature is COLD.

For instance, where I live the high tomorrow and Thurs is 35 degrees.
That is cold for November.

So far, I have been outside for much more than 20 mins each day.

How are the rest of you on the team doing on our outdoor exercise challenge?

YESIAMMANU...I would like to see you join and tell us you exercised outside
for an HOUR each day til Jan 1...I don't think you are up to the challenge, are you?
You would rather sit at your computer.

I hope I am making you mad enough to prove me wrong. :)

Sincerely, flowergirl :tazz:
