Hmm seems as though my post actually didn't have the message in it. Anyways, I have to computers with Tojan.Vundo on them and norton will not do anything about it. I have ran the spyware scans and nothing will remove it. Here is the first Hijack This log, once we get this off the first computer hopefully we can do the same on the other computer. Nortan says that ddcwy.dll is infected with trojan.vundo

Hey sam, thanks for the reply. I'll post back regarding this one in the morning when I get back to the office. I was able to get Vundo off of one of the files but having trouble with one of them in a hidden directory. And then I still have a second computer with Vundo on it at the office that I can post a log for in the morning if that works for you.

Also, I have pc here at home that I'm working on for my brother, I have cleaned it all up like I normally would a machine but I am still getting some popups from something and I cannot tell what. I don't have to open a browser or anything to get them, just about 5-10 minutes after I turn the computer on I will get one. Can i post the HJT log in this thread or should I create a new thread for that one? Would you be able to help me with that one this evening?

Download sfp and unzip it to your desktop.

• Double click sfp.exe thats on your desktop
  
• In step one, please past in the following files(s):
  • C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB894391$\dvdimg.dll
• Click "Continue"
  
• sfp will create a cab file on your desktop called requested-files (and the date)
  
• please email that file to [email protected] Put a link to this thread and name of file in email also

Let me know once you have sent the file and we'll get you fixed up.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
• This will create a VundoFix folder on your desktop.
• After the files are extracted, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
• Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
• You will first be presented with a warning.

Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

• Empty Recycle Bins
• Delete Cookies
• Delete Prefetch files
• Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO.

Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HiJackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.
