Symantec Password Manager Only Boots Now and Then

My PASSWORD MANAGER boots erratically. Some times it loads automatically. Other times I have to click the NORTON SYSTEM WORKS desktop icon and sign into PASSWORD MANAGER manually. I'm using a Power Spec computer with a Pentium Processor and XP with SP2. Everything else seems to be perking along fine. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to how this problem might be corrected?
