Can't find network server

I have 2 macs and a pc plugged into a switch. The 2 macs go to the net perfectly. The pc used to but I connected a dvd duplicator to it, and screwed up the drives. I got them back but now IE and Opera can't find the server.

Meanwhile, when I hit "live update" on Norton Systemworks (on the pc) Nortopn goes right to the net and updates as it should. So Norton can go to the web, but my browsers can't!

I can't figger it out.

Running XP SP 2.
