I don't want one that'll burn CDs, just a library I can search on and, ideally, a player (Nero's player is good but doesn't have a library). I definintly don't want anything that will (or might) install anything from Roxio / Adaptec.

i have used media monkey. its ok. i use mostly winamp now, but i do not know how to tag mp3s with it.

the Yahoo! Music engine is pretty good, and it supports a Nero plugin for burning it detects automaticly
