Cable Internet is very slow and downloading email in Outlook is moving at about 3 bytes a second!!!
Firefox is very slow, but its much quicker than IE. Takes at least 30 minutes to d/l a 2MB file with a cable connection. I updated all programs before running them.
Step 1:
Norton Internet Security Spyware Edition shows clean. Ad-aware 6 is clean and Spybot S&D detected
the usual Media player components but everything else came back clean.
I also ran CW Shredder and it came back clean, but in safe mode it detected and fixed
CWS.MSconfig (which isnt that unusual from what ive read).
I also have Spyware Doctor and it has listed multiple entries of the following in the Quarantined files:

Step 2:
Ran Norton in regular and safe mode. Ran Ewido. Unfortunately deleted quarantined items before saving report...
grokster and overpro were in there for sure as well as two entries for Spyware.Powerstrip
Ran Trend Micro Housecall - came back clean.
Downloaded Trojan Hunter 3 times but wouldn't install - corrupt error message each attempt.
Step 3: Windows is completely up to date
Step4: Still slow as mollases
Step 5: HiJack This! (It should be noted that WINWORD.EXE is listed in the running processes but I do not have it up. Nor have i
used it at all since a reboot today. I have seen this before when looking at the task manager.
