I run Windows XP, with Norton Antivirus.
Anyway, just recently RealPlayer and Windows Media Player stopped automatically getting CD info. Sometime around then most times that I logged on I got a dialog saying something about not being able to log on using my profile so using the default. Since then I've noticed I cannot download files either.
Aah! Help me?
Thanks

Media Players often set themselves as the default player during installation

Open media player, click tools, options, file types, click select all, click apply
