My PC had been freezing randomly. I could not figure out what it was. I finally concluded that it had something to do with the display drivers. When I changed the Hardware Acceleration in Display Properties to none my PC has been stable for about 2 days now. (as opposed to freezing every 5 or 10 minutes). But now whenever I try to play video it usually crashes windows media player. When I try to Play divx files, I get a message saying I need to reinstall DirectX. I have heard it is not possible to reinstall DirectX without more problems being created. Any idea how to solve my video problem and keep the PC stable. Thanks
