G'day, I went through the To Do list before posting, and did everything I could.

This morning my computer was in real bad shape, so I used Safe Mode and did a system restore to last week, which helped a bit.

I then did scans using Ad-Aware and AVG, removing anything I could, though access was denied for some files.

I downloaded and ran WinSock, which helped my connection a little.

I then tried updating my Windows to Service Pack 1a, it is either done or will not work.

I then downloaded the 2 Spy Bot files suggested and ran that, no errors were found there.

I tried to run HijackThis in normal mode but it would not work, just like Task Manager does not.

One virus that keeps returning is "Trojan horse Collected.5.L" in a file entitled msdirectx.sys.
There is another called something like motor.exe that I cannot get rid of.

I ran HijackThis in Safe Mode and got this, I hope it is useful to you.
