Hello again. I saw the unwanted toolbar in an HJT scan so I just deleted that and it hasn't turned up since. One weird thing (unrelated to the toolbar because it was happening before that) is that my McAfee Active Shield sometimes shows a popup when I start up my computer that it is missing components (?) and will not run properly so I should reinstall. I removed and reinstalled it on two separate occasions, but it still started again. I removed the program for now, but would like to reinstall, so please let me know if something below will attack McAfee Active Scan if I do.
In any case, all of the scans came up clean. The stuff I found in other threads, again, has been extremely helpful as far as updating my service pack and removing evil stuff, etc.
The smitrem didn't give me a log that I can find, but here is the new HJT. Please tell me if there is something lurking somewhere, and thanks again for your time on this.
