coming with and error, it shuts it down and starts up again

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:
Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and immediately begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard.
If done right a Windows Advanced Options menu will appear. Select the Safe Mode option and press Enter.
To return to normal mode just restart your computer as you normally would.

Please remove these entries from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel(if present):

DeskAd Service

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\Program Files\DeskAd Service

Please delete these files using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\logon.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinExplorer32.exe

Now you can restart the computer normally.
Please run HijackThis again and post a fresh log, just so I can make sure that all the malware was deleted according to plan.

hey yes cheers....herte my hijack list

i just got one more problem with my laptop.......
when i turn it off, it turns back on ad switches back off, i have to hold the power button in to turn it off!!!

yes... when my mother is on her account, she logs off and it restarts the laptop????
its mad...

No i havent yet because this started when i downloaded direct-x i think off this web page by accident, i think thats wat f***** me up
