Well that's because you didn't explain the problem that you're having with IE closing and let them know ahead of time that you've already been here.

Let's clean up a little bit more so there's no doubt.

Flush your system restore, this will delete any restore points that you have but it will also make sure that any malware hiding in system restore will be booted off.

Turn off System Restore:
  • On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
  • Click Properties.
  • Click the System Restore tab.
  • Check Turn off System Restore.
  • Click Apply, and then click OK.
Restart your computer, turn it back on and create a restore point.

Create a restore point:
  • Click Start and point to All Programs.
  • Mouse over Accessories, then System Tools, and select System Restore.
  • In the System Restore wizard, select the box next the text labeled "Create a
restore point" and click the Next button.
  • Type a description for your new restore point. Something like "After
cleanup". Click Create and you're done.

Download Hoster.

This will restore your original Host files.
Run the program and press Restore Original Hosts and press OK.

Delete any of these files that are present.

Finally we can clean up some of your startup programs that run unnecessarily.

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

I still don't think your problem is caused by malware. When you post in that other forum you should not post a hijackthis log or virus log unless requested. Just explain the problem that you are having and let them know the steps you have already taken. You can even post the link back to this thread.
