Howdy and welcome to G2G:
Yep.. it will either be on your Win98cd case, your Certificate o Authentication or, perhaps the computer case itself..
If it is in none of these spots, then you get to buy a new one!!

Hi,
The product key is located here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProductID
START > RUN type in REGEDIT click on + next to each and on the file of Current Version.

the drive is already formatted.
1069:
Tough to find something in the Registry or by using jellybean when the drive has already been formatted!!!
