This may or may not have anything to do with my earlier posting concerning inoperative Modem HSP K56FLEX PNP Modem.

When I power-up computer following Box appears on screen reads as follows.

This wizard helps you install softeware for:
PnP Sound Chip

[/b]If your hardware came with an installation CD or floppy disk, insert it now.

I am being asked if I want to automatically install.

Are these two problems connected in some way?

Regards

Have you tryed to let the wizard run and install what it wants to install? When did this start? Do you get sound, even though it wants to install the software for your sound card?
